The PRCA engages on issues affecting Pine Ridge and its residents, with PRCA board members and volunteers working hard each year to identify and resolve issues affecting our community. Here's a sampling of projects that we undertake.

Host and maintain the PRCA website

Monitor transportation safety concerns, working with applicable government agencies

Petition VDOT to pave roads within the neighborhood

Engage government officials to request water service in Pine Ridge areas without Fairfax Water

Monitor zoning matters, land use, and the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan

Maintain the Little Free Library (take a book, leave a book) on Crestview Drive

Publish a free monthly email newsletter

Maintain the Pine Ridge community signs on Prosperity Avenue near Rte. 236 and Rte. 50

Host a National Night Out, where neighbors gathered at Roundtree Park for a family-friendly social gathering

Greet new Pine Ridge neighbors with welcome baskets on behalf of the Board and the neighborhood

Host the Annual Meeting & Dinner in person

Review our finances to conform with statutes and best practices
